Chris Tillman couldn't even turn in one of his patented "five and dive" outings, getting knocked out after 4.1 innings with five runs allowed. The Orioles got a run back on an Adam Jones single in the third inning, then surged for three runs on four hits in the fifth inning. They trail the Royals, 5-4, in the middle of the sixth inning. They have twelve outs left to score more, but the dangerous back end of the Royals bullpen is only three outs away.
